A Message From Our CEO Regarding COVID-19
Dear friends, family, and pet parents,
I wanted to personally reach out to you and provide an update on how we at Pack Leaders ATL are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Let’s start with some good news; Fortunately, in regards to our pets, the World Health Organization and CDC have concurred that there is no present evidence that cats or dogs can be infected by the Caronavirus nor transmit the virus to humans.
Additionally, we are open for business and very thankful to have you as a member of our pack.
We founded this company with quality care being the center of our mission, and now more than ever that is our #1 priority. As the concern for the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to grow, we believe it’s important to do our part in helping to reduce the risk of transmission in our community while providing you the quality of service you’ve come to expect and love from Pack Leaders ATL.
Here are some of the preventative safety measure we are taking:
We are providing all of our employees with hand sanitizer and are implementing recommended safety protocols such as frequent hand washing before and after visits.
We will be using our own leashes when possible, and limiting the surface areas we come in contact with while in your home and communities.
Team members who are feeling ill are required to stay home, and we are asking all team members to practice social distancing while out in public and at work.
We know many of you are working from home, and some of you have had to cancel vacation travel. We already miss seeing your pets. Please let us know if we can be of any help, or if you need a walk break for your pet. We’ve made the following adjustments below to better serve Pet Parents who are home during this time.
New Adjustments to our Services:
We are waiving all cancellation fees for sittings and boardings that have been impacted by COVID-19 cancellations. Our cancellation policy for walks remains FREE up until an hour before the walk is scheduled to start.
We are now offering a No-to-Low Contact pickup and drop off for walks. Just ask for a Contactless pickup in the Walk Request Notes. When we arrive, you can let your dog out the door and we will leash them with our own leash. When the walk is complete, we will let them back in without entering your home.
Emergency pickups/boarding/pet taxi for people who get stuck abroad, can’t get home, or are being asked to self-quarantine.
25% Off Boardings at a Pack Leaders Home for Pet Parents needing emergency travel or quarantine accommodations. This is an additional 5-10% off package pricing.
GROOMING: For now we will only be offering in-home baths and de-shed treatments, and pausing our weekend services in pet spas in Midtown.
We are equally committed to taking care of our employees as well. As a small business we are currently working on how to supplement pay for our team members as the number of services dwindles due to COVID-19. We are also working hard to ensure everyone on staff remains healthy, and would love your help.
We are asking our Pet Parents to help with the following:
Please leave out any cleaning supplies you may like us to use to clean any areas in your home that we come in contact with.
If you are feeling ill, please consider canceling your services, or informing us so that we may perform a Contactless Pick up/Drop off Dog walk. You may also book a dog boarding for 25% off regular pricing until you feel better.
Please consider purchasing a package in the app or a gift card to use at a later time for yourself or friend HERE. This will help us to supplement our staff’s pay during this crisis.
We understand the growing concern surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19) across our communities, and our hearts go out to all those who've been impacted. As pet parents, we understand you may have specific questions about how to keep your pets and families safe, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
